"The morning watch is essential. You must not face the day until you have faced God, nor look into the face of others until you have looked into His."
--Streams in the Desert

I've been at my watch each morning for the past two weeks. Yes, the morning watch is indeed ESSENTIAL!

Tomorrow night, my husband, Rob, and my oldest son, Aaron, arrive home from their two-week tour of the land of Kemet (Some records cite Kemet as the ancient name for Egypt; this was the name Rob used in all his correspondence).
Why am I nervous? I'm not sure. Is it because people change each moment of their lives and I've had two weeks in which to change? Is it because they have changed? (They seem darker in the pictures...the sun sure works in the land of Kemet, ha, ha!) There will probably be some re-acquainting work tomorrow...and maybe some habits/routines for us all to ease back into.

Nervous or not, I'll be able to look into the faces of Rob and Aaron tomorrow night (happily)...for in the morning, I will have looked into His!
